The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released a notification inviting online applications for the recruitment of 384 Stenographers (Grade C). The vacancies are available in various departments of the Government of India.

Eligibility:
To be eligible for the post, candidates must have:
- Passed the 12th standard or equivalent examination from a recognized board or university.
- Rendered not less than 2 to 6 years of approved service as Stenographer Grade 'D'.
- A maximum age of 50 years as on the closing date of the application.
Important Dates:
- Opening date of application: 4 September 2023
- Closing date of application: 25 September 2023
Application Fee:
- General/OBC candidates: Rs. 100/-
- SC/ST/PwBD/Women/Ex-servicemen candidates: Nil
Selection Process:
The selection process will consist of the following stages:
- Computer Based Examination (CBE)
- Shorthand Skill Test (SST) in Hindi or English
- Evaluation of Service Records (ESR)

- Visit the SSC website and click on the "New Registration" tab.
- Provide the required details and create a login ID and password.
- Login to your account and fill out the application form.
- Upload the required scanned documents.
- Pay the application fee.
- Submit the application form.
